The TruSculpt®

The truSculpt® 3D body sculpting is the most effective procedure for non-invasive fat reduction and body sculpting/contouring. Non-invasive and no visual downtime, with a 24% fat reduction over one 60-minute treatment time.

Common treatment areas include the abdomen and flanks.  truSculpt® 3D treatment offers consistent and impressive results by delivering and holding clinically therapeutic temperatures to the subcutaneous adipose tissue to achieve the clinical efficacy in the shortest possible treatment time with enhanced safety and comfort.

The Cutera truSculpt® 3D uses a proprietary radio frequency (RF) technology featuring a closed-loop temperature feedback mechanism that allows targeted, repeatable, and uniform heating of the subcutaneous fat layer while maintaining lower average surface temperatures.  The fat cells are then broken down and disposed of by the body over a period of 3 months.

TruSculpt® 3D is ideal for removing that stubborn fat that remain despite efforts of a good diet and regular exercise practice.  The truSculpt® 3D system is also used for the temporary reduction of the appearance of cellulite.  Compared to older, alternative approaches such as freezing and ultrasound, truSculpt® 3D is more comfortable, faster, tightens the skin and usually only requires one treatment.

Painless Procedure

Laser treatment can be performed as soon as your physician determines you have toenail fungus. A typical treatment for all ten toes (or fingers) takes 15-20 minutes. Although it is a painless procedure, you may feel slight discomfort associated with the heat during the treatment. The number of treatments you will need depends on your toenail condition, but most patients require 2-4 treatments. You will see results after the nail grows out in about 4-12 months.

Laser Vein Removal

Sclerotherapy is an ideal treatment to treat small varicose veins and spider veins.

Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution directly into the vein. The sclerotherapy solution causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The collapsed vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades.

After sclerotherapy, treated veins tend to fade within a few weeks, although occasionally it may take a month or more to see the full results. In some instances, several sclerotherapy treatments may be needed.

Sclerotherapy is often done for:

  • Cosmetic purposes — to improve the appearance of varicose and spider veins
  • The procedure can also improve related symptoms such as:
  • Aching
  • Swelling
  • Burning
  • Night cramps

The number of injections depends on the number and size of veins being treated. You will experience minor pain with the injections.

Walking around soon after the procedure is encouraged to prevent blood clots. Wearing compression stockings or bandages for several weeks after will be required as well. Most people return to their normal activities on the same day.

The Sciton JOULE™ laser is a safe, fast and effective solution for treating venous insufficiency resulting in spider veins and rosacea.

The absorption of laser energy closes the incompetent vein without damaging surrounding tissue. Telangiectasia or venulectasias, are tiny red, blue, or purple thread-like veins near the surface of the skin that look like a spider’s web. These small, dilated, visible veins are caused by increased pressure inside the veins. Spider veins can develop on any part of the body, including the face, but most often appear on the thighs, calves, ankles, or buttocks.

Laser vein treatment takes less than an hour. The laser heats and destroys the spider vein causing it to disappear over a period of four to six weeks.  Depending on the size and number of veins, two to six treatments will be needed. The treatments are usually done 4-6 weeks apart. Those with a tendency towards vascular problems will most likely require additional treatments.

Avoiding sun and wearing support hose are recommended post treatment. The pain is minimal, and one may take any over the counter pain medications. After treatment, there is no downtime. You can resume all normal activities immediately afterward.  Final results may not be apparent for several months. Most patients are satisfied by the results in a noticeably short time.

Laser Hair Removal

If you experience abnormal hormonal stresses that cause unwanted hair growth, if you suffer from painful ingrown hairs or if you want to eliminate dealing with painful waxing or the hassle of daily shaving, Laser Hair Removal Treatment is a great choice!

Laser hair removal is a medical procedure that uses a concentrated beam of light (laser) to remove unwanted hair. Melanin or pigment of the hair absorbs the light/heat therefore damaging the hair follicle, eliminating, or delaying hair growth.

Laser hair removal takes 2-6 treatments to be effective and results may not be permanent and require maintenance treatments.  It can be performed on many skin types. Commonly performed to eliminate hair on chin, upper lip, legs, bikini, back and under arms. Unlike waxing and plucking, laser hair removal involves a lot less pain. Your skin will be numbed ahead of time to make the process nearly painless.

Hairs do not fall out immediately, but you will shed them over a period of days to weeks. This may look like continued hair growth. The repeated treatments are usually necessary because hair growth and loss naturally occur in a cycle, and laser treatment works best with hair follicles in the new-growth stage.

MICROLASERPEEL®

MicroLaserPeel® uses a laser to remove a thin layer of damaged skin, encouraging the growth of collagen. This leads to improved skin texture and a more youthful appearance. After a laser peel, the thin layer of damaged skin will be removed and replaced with smooth, tight skin.

MicroLaserPeel® is one of the newest advances in skin resurfacing, which uses a special laser to address the conditions of your skin. The treatment removes a thin layer of damaged skin to improve texture and achieve healthier-looking skin. This innovative procedure provides superior results because it is individually tailored for each patient and can be administered with high precision. Most skin areas and skin types can be treated effectively. Popular treatment areas are face and neck, though some people also use it to improve skin conditions of the chest and hands.

The MicroLaserPeel’s beam is scanned over a treatment area to remove a very thin layer of the skin. Removing the top layer eliminates some of the damaged cells that can give skin a tired, aged look. As the skin heals, fresh cells grow and resurface the treated area. The result is healthier-looking skin, often with reduced wrinkles and improved color evenness. Patients often say that it looks like their skin went from looking tired to vibrant.

What conditions can be treated with MicroLaserPeel?

  • Mild wrinkles
  • Scars
  • Keratosis
  • Sun damage (e.g., freckles)
  • Pigment irregularities
